Artist’s Statement

In my paintings and sculptural works, I explore the idea of a parallel space, a peaceful realm beyond the limitations of everyday life that feels both distant and deeply familiar. I create windows, portals, and layered spaces that offer glimpses into this realm, where memory, imagination, and longing converge.

Drawing from scenes inspired by Sindh, Pakistan, I use cultural memory to explore spaces beyond ordinary experience. A figure walking toward the horizon, a doorway, or a patterned surface becomes symbol for movement between earthly existence and a space of peace and transcendence. These landscapes are not merely depictions of place, but reflections of longing, belonging, and the search for home.
