Artist’s Statement
If I’m lost, how can I find myself? is a photographic triptych depicting the tension between holding on and letting go. My hands caress, hold, and grip a chair. What is usually an ordinary object now becomes a talisman of support, resistance, and uncertainty. Being “lost” is not always a physical condition. Rather, it can be emotional or existential. Across the three images, the chair becomes both anchor and obstacle, asking what we reach for when we are searching for ourselves.
