Artist’s Statement
███ Goes to Washington is a series in which an abridged selection of film stills have been collected from Frank Capra's 1939 film Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Film stills are selected then voided systematically. The two prints on view in this year’s Texas Vignette are two of the original 5,401 film stills compiled.
